What This Policy Covers
This policy explains the information that may be processed when you browse Meridian Health Guide, accept analytics cookies, subscribe to email updates, follow an affiliate link, or contact the editorial team.
Product Preference Finder
The five-question product preference finder calculates a category result in your browser. The answers are not sent to our servers or stored by Meridian Health Guide. If you accept analytics cookies, the site may send general interaction events and the resulting product category to Google Analytics; it does not send the individual answers.
Analytics and Consent
Google Analytics is loaded only after you choose to accept analytics cookies. Events may include page path, general interaction type, product category, ASIN, affiliate-link placement, search intent, and editorial risk level. IP anonymization is enabled in the site configuration.
You can decline analytics in the site banner or clear the local consent setting in your browser. Declining analytics does not block ordinary browsing.
Email Subscriptions
Newsletter subscriptions are processed by the third-party email service embedded on the homepage. The email address is transmitted to that provider when you submit the subscription form and is used to send the requested updates. Review the provider’s own privacy terms for its processing, retention, and unsubscribe practices.
You can unsubscribe through the link in an email or contact us if you need help locating the subscription controls.
Contact Requests
If you email us, we receive the information contained in your message and email headers. We use it to respond, evaluate corrections, handle privacy requests, or manage a partnership inquiry. Do not send sensitive medical information or information that is not necessary for the request.
Affiliate Links and Amazon
When you follow an Amazon affiliate link, Amazon and other third parties may process information under their own policies. Meridian Health Guide does not receive your Amazon account information or a user-level record of your purchase. Read our Affiliate Disclosure for commercial details.
Retention and Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Email records are retained by the email provider according to your subscription and its policies. Contact correspondence may be retained as needed to respond, document a correction, or comply with a legal obligation.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly request personal information from children.
